Amy is the founder of Peoplr, a national firm of Human Resources experts who deliver practical people solutions, including recruiting, compensation, technology and performance strategies that drive extraordinary business results. In addition to active involvement in consulting engagements, McGeorge also serves as an executive recruiter and a career coach for executives making career transitions.
Before returning to her roots in Human Resources Consulting, McGeorge was Chief Operating Officer of Vurv Technology where she directed all aspects of the software company’s global operations prior its sale to Taleo (NASDAQ:TLEO) for $130 million—5x recurring revenue. Prior to Vurv, McGeorge was Chief Operating Officer of Citigroup’s global employee benefits services unit where she played a key role in growing revenue from $25 million in 1996 to nearly $500 million in 2005. McGeorge began her career at Hewitt, the world’s largest global HR Consulting firm, where she served as a Managing Consultant for one of the firm’s five largest clients.
McGeorge has completed executive education at the Wharton School of Business, holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Psychology from Alma College, and was awarded the Diplome de Langue from the Alliance Française in Paris, France. She is a regular guest on WJXT’s Morning Show as an expert in employment and the workplace and was a recipient of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and “Woman of Influence” awards.
McGeorge lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband, Bob, and two children.
